I did make the blue and yellow hat fur a nephew (I already made mittens for his brother so we needed to be fair...) but I have not mastered sizing yet and the hat ended up fitting his not yet 2-year old brother instead of his 8-year old head. Well, such is life and it only took me two nights to make it. I'll have to try again - this time we'll go twice as big!

Shoes: Part I (Trial Run)
These were really fun to make and turned out well while not being perfect. No interfacing in these as the fabric was thick enough. I love the simple tweediness and thanks to Jon's sister for her donation from the button jar.

Oh, they turned out really cute!! I'm glad you had fun making them because I did not. I got frustrated because they are so small and hard to work with (maybe it was the fabrics I used). But I tried another pair and it was better the second time around, once I had things figured out. I'll send you a pic. And that dress looks adorable by the way, you'll have to teach me to knit one of these days!
these are super cute! i didn't know that you sewed.
did you use a pattern for these? if so where can i find it? i want to make them.
those are too stinkin adorable! Nice job, Lady.
