Dave's Wedding

On Saturday in the Bountiful Temple, Jon's brother Dave finally tied the knot. He is the last of the 8 siblings to get married. If you want to check out some photos click on the Picasa Photos link on the right and check out the "Dave's Wedding" album - here are a few to start you off. We'll be sending a complete set to Dave & Karly, but I don't think everyone wants all 300+ photos. It's about 1.3GB and I am not sure how many cd's it's going to take. If you'd like an abbreviated "West Family" version, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope and a CD-R.

Oma & Opa's Visit

This morning, Oma & Opa will leave Utah. We were able to spend one more night with them last night after work just talking and said goodbye to them before we left again for work this morning.

We had a wonderful visit with them and enjoyed spending time reminiscing about old times and hearing new stories too. It was fun to spend time as a group but also nice to have quieter times in the evening to just talk. It was also fun to sweep Opa in cribbage - a rare occurance and one that happened more by luck than skill I think!

We will miss them, but I am sure they will be glad to return to their own bed after a busy couple weeks of travelling. As for me, I'm really going to try hard to get some photos up tonight of the past week - fingers crossed...
